Entel Launches Versatile DX400 Series DMR Hand-Portable Radios

Feature-rich radios, combined with commercial-grade IP68 submersible design, deliver exceptional durability and superior audio quality at competitive entry-level prices

Entel is delighted to announce the launch of its exciting new DX400 Series to the global market. The versatile DX400 Series comprises three feature-rich designs; all of which are ultra-compact, lightweight, MIL-STD commercial-grade construction and IP68 fully submersible. The DX400 Series has been designed by Entel’s UK-based research and development team to cater for a wide-ranging number of applications.

"The DX400 Series radios are IP68 fully submersible to two metres for four hours, the highest rating currently available on the market”, said Steve Mulka, Global Product Manager at Entel. "They offer one of the most compact and robust designs, combined with distinctively louder, clearer and more natural-sounding audio compared to existing DMR digital radios, making them perfectly at home in applications where much larger commercial-size radios would have previously been used.”

Additional features of the DX400 Series, include:

• Dual mode: Supports both digital and analogue modes, ensuring simple migration from legacy analogue radio systems
• Versatile: Available in multiple global frequency bands (including DMR446 License free) and are compatible with all other leading brands of DMR Digital radios
• High visibility display options: High-contrast white on black OLED display, providing excellent visibility in varying light conditions
• Enhanced privacy: A far superior level of privacy is provided as standard
• Free feature updates: Entel’s free feature updates can be simply applied by the user using Entel’s unique end-user programming app

Non-display versions of the DX400 Series are ideal for users whose prime requirement is simple voice communications. The two display models featuring simple navigation buttons, or a full keypad, are best suited to users who require additional information and features.

The DX400 Series is the first of an exciting new range of feature-rich digital products Entel will be launching over the coming year.

Entel adds ‘Marine’ to the DX400 Series of DMR Radios



Hot on the heels of the DX400 Series launched in April this year Entel is delighted to announce the launch of the new DX400M to the Commercial Marine market. Developed by Entel’s UK-based R&D team the DX400M is designed specifically to meet the needs of harsh marine environments. This rugged handset offers display and non-display designs; both of which are ultra-compact, lightweight and commercial-grade MIL-STD construction.
